New Home for COL
« on: March 19, 2014, 08:44:56 PM »
Dear all

Welcome back to COL on it's new server, for those who are into such things we are now running on some serious Xen technology with some 5GB memory and 12 cores of CPU. COL has never loaded up so quickly, the forum appears to be running smoothly too.
There will be a period of 24 hours where the site may here one minute and gone the next, this is while the DNS updates and is not a concern, but please be patient while the servers settle.

This move to a semi-dedicated server has only been possible through your kind donations, without them COL would not exist. We will attempt to keep COL a donation based site for as long as we can. Thank you all donators, every donation no matter how small really does help.

As always please report any strange forum software behaviours here on the forum or via email. In the even of a complete site failure we can now also be contacted on twitter @cockersonline

Regards
Stu

Thank you for keeping COL running Stu...it's an excellent forum and if the piggy bank is getting low just put a shout out as I am sure some of the people who have donated in the past wouldn't mind giving another donation to help keep this informative, supportive forum going.  ;)

Yep certainly good to be back. Are donations only payable via paypal - or are there alternatives?
