Awful situation but I'm sure I am not the only person that feels concerned about a 10 month old bitch having a litter of puppies.  ??

Me too. But then I re-read the report and it doesn't actually say they were her pups.

Exactly my first thought too. I really hope the 10 month old isn't the mum of the pups and I hope they are all found safe and well.

Someone hoping to make a quick profit and they will no doubt be on a dodgy web site for sale!

The 10 month old isn't the mother of the pups, just another Cocker owned by the same person.

Yesterday I read on another forum that somebody had come forward, having bought one of the pups without knowing it was stolen. So hopefully that will be a good enough lead for the police to find the rest and the thieves.

Lets just hope the courts deal with them appropriately. Sadly, I fear that they wont.  :016:

Good news all round. I really hope they are all found and that the thieves get their just deserts.

this is in the a village near us and I have heard that they were keeping the puppies in pens on their land not in the house or in secure kennels etc.  In my opinion it is asking for trouble to be kept in a "pen" on farmland and surely it is cold for the puppies.  we had hard frost that night.

I think there is something more to it too - sounds a bit dodgy really.

I have to say I'm thinking the same.
