ellie is a working cocker and as i understand it, breeders of workers are not fussy about solid/parti matings coz they are looking for other things in the pups not colour/markings. now i have no intention of breeding but i did wonder the other day if breeders of show type cockers only breed say,'and white' with 'and white' or do they mix 'and white' with roan. it just popped into my head and now i would like to know the answer
