aaahh rest easy little Trixie.

A wise woman once said " the biggest disservice our pets inflict on us, is to not live as long as we do" (or words to that effect)......its quite true.

Will be thinking of you.

Very sorry for your loss. 16 1/2 is a fantastic age and from your avatar a very loved little doggie. I hope when the time is right a new bundle of joy will walk at your side. Thinking of you.

so so sorry :'(,it is devastating and so hard to deal with,
we lost our non cocker dog at 17 years of age ,nearly a year ago now and we still miss her :'(,
time is a great healer and although no other dog can ever replace the one you have lost,it does help the hurt,
my thoughts are with you

So sorry to hear of your loss.  Run free Trixie.
Time does help.
You will always have a "Trixie" shaped hole in your heart, but as time goes by the edges will get a little blurry and it will get a little easier, - but the hole will always be there.
We lost our Westie almost 2 years ago and our Yorkie last September, and we still miss them both very much - the other dogs do help, but we still think about them every day!
