Dudley is very sweet  :luv:

I have a boy cocker and a girl Weim... They have a bit of a 'aloof big sister and annoying little brother' relationship but when he needs protecting she's in there straight away  :luv:

I think it's all dependant on the dogs in question as to what suits each one though... that's not very helpful is it... Sorry!

Aaaah Trev was my first cocker who sadly died very suddently in June this year aged only 6  :'( but he was a legend (the golden boy in the pic on the left) and left me with a lot of wonderful memories and experiences.. and will never be replaced but 'Mi mate Dave' has helped heal a very broken heart  :luv:

It was all inconclusive and a real shock  :'( - just 10 days from first symptom. Either an autoimmune problem or a very aggressive blood cancer - but by the time it was all over I didn't really care about details just wanted him home and buried in the garden..

But... he's the reason I will never be without a cocker now so he seriously left his mark  ;) You're right though, having a cocker to cuddle does help heal a lot of things! Glad Dudley has helped you too  :luv:

Hiya, and welcome to COL. Dudley is sooooooooo cute! I love the "explosion in a paint factory" look  :luv:

I have Bramble, who's 3 and is liver roan. I also have Poppy, who is 16 months and is orange and white. My two girls get on really well. Bramble has such an amazing temperament I just knew there wouldn't be any hassle with a new puppy.

We also have a 12 year old cat called Fifi - who tolerates the dogs. We also have a 7 month old kitten - Daisy Flower Baby (my 4 year old named her  :luv:) who thinks she's a cocker spaniel! She plays with Poppy for hours on end  :luv:
With love from Julie, Bramble Poppy and Coco xxx

How wonderful :-) sounds like a happy litte furry family! We also have two cats - both 7, and they pretend to hate him, but the tease him awfully! We also thikn that duds thinks he is a cst - he pounces on things like a kitten! and yes, we liked the explosion look too lol!  Your 4 yr old has very good taste! A friend of mine has a kitten called jelly baby! He named her however. and he is 18....ha ha ha!
