My collie/cross Maisie loves carrots, but only if they are peeled and the ends removed. Not that she's spoilt or anything.

I did a course Natural therapy for companion animals and was told carrots are a natural way of worming not that I would rely on just carrots. My two love them and also get the tips when peeling carrots also use them as a training treat, not fattening grate them up and add to the liver bread.

try them later on as you never know (its always worth revisiting some things) --- I found with one foster dog she would only eat them if i cut them up while mine love to have a whole carrot

Coco is the same - she prefers them cut into small chunks.  If I give her a whole one, she will just shred it all over the floor  ::)
