Welcome to COL  . So glad you have decided now is the time to fill that cocker shaped hole in your heart. There seem to be a fair few in rescue needing their forever home at the moment  :'( .

I have an eight year old working cocker called Fern.

Just to check that I'm looking in the right place!!! would that be the forum page under rescue?

As you're new here's a direct link  ;)  :D

Hi Jan,

Hope the search is going well and so good to hear(read) nice things about another working boy.  Sooooo pleased to know the chewing I have been dreading might not be as ad as I was expecting. So far so good with my little  but I am touching the edge of a wooden table as I type.  Good luck again with the search  :D and keep us posted.

Hello Jan

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss but also very happy to hear that you are ready to let another cocker take over your life  :005:
I lost my first cocker at a very young age just 4 weeks ago and I already have a 12 week old black and white ticked called Eric. I couldn't bare to be without a four legged friend.
Good Luck with your Search

Hi and welcome to COL  :D

Sorry to hear about the loss of your boy  :'(  but it's great that you're looking for a rescue cocker now. I have 3 working cockers and my 3 year old liver girl Tilly is a rescue, I already had Alfie (2 yr old blue roan) and wasn't really looking for another one but I spotted her on the Rescue Cockers board on here one day and it was love at first sight so Alfie and I drove from Edinburgh to Doncaster 2 days later to get her  :luv:  I also now have Rodaidh who is 13 months old, I will definitely have another rescue worker one day but for the moment my 3 are more than enough!

Good luck in your search, I'm sure there is a cocker out there just waiting for you  :D
