Happy, happy, happy.
« on: March 21, 2004, 08:44:49 PM »
After spending some time reading a lot of post's written by concerned owners, I think it is time for a nice, positive post.
Buster is starting to do GREAT !!
He sits to command, even off the lead. He will wait when asked, even when we have just put a bowl of his favourite food down for him.
He is starting to understand that it is unacceptable behaviour to nip and bite.
He asks to go out to relieve himself.
He barked when the doorbell rung this morning.
He is going to be a superb mate for Tina and I.

That's the thing about cockers, they aren't always as easy as people expect them to be (they're cute but certainly not sedate lapdogs, which is the impression some people get of them). But with hard work you get there in the end.

Wow! You must be so proud!
Barnaby can do a few of them but I don't think we are ever going to get him to wait before a plate of food!
