:P We had exactly the same problem with Bailey so you are not alone, however we gave in and let him sleep in our room and have never looked back since. He never does anything in the bedroom unless he got really desperate. So now we have a happy Bailey and happy mum and dad because we now get plenty of sleep. He whines to go to bed at 10pm every night and doesn't surface until 7am and if we are off work we let him out to do his business then he comes back to bed until we are ready to get up. Model dog or what lol.  :P

Back from France and Buddy slept til 6 this morning!  So that is a time we can live with.  I think he wakes needing to go out, but of course by the time we get down, the deed has been done and the paper is wet!  But hopefully, he will be able to hold that with time.  

My parents left with their nerves in tact and France was great, thanks for asking.

My mum even asked if she could have him next time we go on holiday..... so not all bad then!
