Sometimes when they're so poorly it comes as a blessed relief to know they're not in pain anymore but doesn't stop your heart breaking when they go does it  :'(

We have a lot to thank Sonny for, he is Elsie's Dad and Edna's Grandad, I feel gutted for Ann as he was a super boy.

Sleep tight Sonny  :luv:.

I'm so sorry Cayley - I forgot he was Elsie's dad & Edna's grandad too  :'(  :bigarmhug:
I took some flowers & a card over to Ann & as expected, she was in pieces  :'(   Sonny was only 12 but started having trouble walking, back in Oct. The meds he was prescribed started to cause breathing difficulties & lung cancer was suspected, however, the meds were swapped to metacam & his breathing improved. Sadly he slowly his mobility deteriorated until the day came when Ann knew his time had come. The vet kindly came to the house & Ann & her husband Stephen, were with him to the end.  :bigarmhug:
