Hadn't thought of that and now you have mentioned it I quite agree, especially if its a working type, if their popularity rises then there will be lots of workers ending up in homes that really aren't equiped to deal with a workers needs

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking.  Hopefully there won't be too much press, the royals have that many dogs it's not a huge story.

my thoughts turn to the amount of working cocker puppies that will turn up in rescue at around 6 months of age
