New here, waiting for our cocker

Hi there, we have an orange roan cocker coming to us next month. We are in Scotland, my name is Shona and I'm a stay at home mum with thee kids, aged 15,9, and 8.

We have been planning on getting a dog for two years now, and are all very excited. We still have to find a name for him though, we can't decide.

Anyway, nice to find such a cocker mad place, I feel at home! ;D

Welcome to COL Shona. Can't wait to see pics of the little one when you get him home ;) I'm in Scotland too and have 3 cockers: Brook is an 11 year old gold, Vegas is a 17 month old orange roan, last but not least is Dallas who is 364 days old ;) and he is black.

Welcome Shona!!  I bet you are soooo excited about getting your baby, not long to wait now!  Good luck with the names, its like choosing baby names all over again, hubbie and I went round in circles chosing Indies name and then we just let the kids decide.

Looking forward to meeting your new little pup.

The kids want to call him Indy after indiana jones, or Cosmo after I don't know what!  :o

I noticed there is an Indie here already!
It's lovely to see all your babies, all different colours, beautiful. I hope the next month does fly past, we just can't wait, and as every day goes by I'm spending more and more in that darn pet shop, lol.

Hi Shona

Welcome to COL. We are a friendly bunch generally. A bit like our fave breed, mad, soft as muck, soppy to the extreme, cuddly and game for a laugh ;D but watch us fight over our fave thing ;D only joking.

You'll have such a great time when you get your new pup. I have a Blue boy and an Orange boy. Both very very different. Do let us have pic's when you can.

We have a blue girl, and were quite lucky in getting her - only had to wait a week!!  ;D

You're month will be up sooner than you think - and as for the pet shop spending sprees .. that doesn't stop when you get them ... as my credit card can testify  ::)  ::)

I have a blue roan called Lottie who is 13 months old.  It was this time last year that I was waiting patiently( ;) ;DNOT) to bring her home.....seemed like a life time but so exciting :D
