Just thought i'd introduce myself, i'm Grace and im from presteigne, powys. I have been thinking about getting a cocker spaniel for a while now and we have finally found one! :D A friend of the family has a cousin that breeds show types of cocker spaniels and i am going to see an orange roan male pup on thursday (cant wait!!). He will be ready to go to his new home that weekend aswell. I already have an 7 year old golden lab who is pretty much perfect and i'm sure he'll love his new friend! Also have 5 chickens in the back garden who i'm sure will look forward to another friend!

I have an orange roan too, William, who is nearly 6 years old. I also have 10 month blue roan and tan Louis.

Have you thought of any names yet?

Hello there!Great choice  :cool4:  I have an orange roan boy too, 2yrs old in June  :luv: he's as mad as a box of frogs most of the time though  :lol2: such an energetic boy, so I hope you realise what you're letting yourself in for, they've got Duracell batteries in them!  :005:

I have 2 orange roan boys Baxter and Angus who are 14 months old and are adorable (but a lot of hard work) you will find some excellent tips and help on this site I kow I have. Chris x
