after recomendations for a new camera ASAP
« on: May 29, 2013, 08:36:56 PM »
Im going on holiday in a fortnight and would like some advice on which camera to buy.
Im looking for a DSLR one with a screen on it that tilts so as I can look at taking some low level shots of the dogs.
I want one that I can buy different lenses for that do different shots.
IDIOT PROOF as I'm no David Bailey  ;) so one that is easily understood for me to take decent pics and action shots.
I have about £500 to spend.
My problem is I'd hate to buy something thinking Im getting a good deal to get home and go online and find it alot cheaper  ph34r

Maybe Im expecting too much for £500 but its all I have for a camera  :005:

Any advice would be much appreciated.

We bought a Canon D5000 last year for about £500 and love it.  If you can get it as part of a package you get a lens as well.
It has the tilting screen and although we don't yet know how to use all the settings, the auto feature is great for now !   :005:
