When our windows desktop died four years ago,we went over to Apple, and have a desktop iMac, and I had an iPad Air. They have worked beautifully and made computing mostly a pleasure, no spending hours on helplines with McAfee or norton, free updates etc., and an empty swear box
.
Anyway, last week I inadvertently activated iCloud Drive which uploaded all my docs into the cloud storage and then told me it was full and wouldn't save anything. 5 Gg is free, after that you have to pay. I managed to find out how to download them back and delete the drive, but it still told me it was full. Tried every which way to make it work, but realised I needed the helpline. Took me days to psych up for it, thinking it would cost an arm and a leg at premium rate. went online to ask for chat, and Had barely finished filling in the request when Apple rang me to sort it out. The first guy couldn't do it so passed me to an expert, it took nearly an hour, it turned out it was partly my fault and partly a glitch, but we got through it and fixed the fault on both Mac and ipad. Disabled the iCloud Drive on both, and everything hunky dory.
So impressed with the service, I know Apple stuff is expensive but it is so worth it, especially if you've spent hours on other helplines waiting for an answer. Happy bunny 😍🐰
