Oh Meg's darling sometimes Mums and Dads have to nip out and that when doggeez does the naughteez....cause Mum and Dad left you in with your sister. :D

Maybe Mum can give you a kong with smooth peanut butter in.....just an idea. ;)

Glad you like the toy...you are a lucky girl.

Cocker kisses and cuddles just make my day!

You are always with me darlings Jaypup and my precious Oliver you are so missed

I don't know whether it is possible to let both Megan and Honey have the whole house to roam while you are out but it might help. It could be the being closed in that's making Megs feel a bit uncertain when you leave. Especially if she was locked in a small kennel or something before you rescued her. Just a thought. Of course, it might make it worse or she could then scratch the front or back doors but you could maybe give it a try when you do a short trip out next time xxx

Hi all,
Yes we left Meg's with Honey in the computer room
(third bedroom) :D  Honey always stay there when we go out
as Meg's likes being in there with me,
she is here now :shades:  and always beats me upstairs  :lol2:
We thought she may have  settled with Honey
downstairs both our rooms are open plan so
she has the run of the lounge, dining room and kitchen.
with all her toys and I bought her a Kong which I fill
before going out and give it to her. I really don't want
to have to put her in a large crate but as we have lots of
wires, etc  about which cannot be moved
I don't want to risk her hurting herself. a small problem
but one we will I'm sure find a answer to.
Must tell you this why is it that the best pictures are the
ones when you haven't got the camera to hand, after
turning off the computer I looked down and there was
Honey curled up asleep with Meg's tucked up into her
tummy Honey's legs over her both snoring their heads off.
two little
She is growing and putting on weight but my favorite
time is when she plays and does her Cocker Bum Wiggle with
a smile showing her teeth,  :luv:
I think that we have a little lady who has now found and settled
with us and is scared that we are not coming back, but it is
important that we can leave her some times.
Guess it will be time and patience and love that will sort this out.
she has us under her spell now  :lol2: :lol2:

 it's me again, Meg's
Just popped in to say Hello and tell you all my latest news  ;)
I have been learning a few more things, like I beat Mum (and
Honey )  :lol2:  upstairs when we go to bed, we both get some gravy
bones as a good night treat Yummy. sure helps a girl to
sleep.  :lol2:
I am curled up by my Mum  now. when she goes down
the garden I stand on my hind legs and scratch the door to
go to her but as I am still frightened and try to hide under
the pots at the bottom of the garden,I can't go out unless
I'm on my lead, to many place for me to crawl into that
Mum would have a job getting me out and she says she
doesn't want to scare me.  ph34r
Dad took Honey for a walk and Mum thought it might be
a good idea if I tried to go out the front door and she
carried me a couple of doors up the road. well I was a bit
jumpy when Dad opened the front door but Mum talked
to me all the time and I looked around at the cars parked
in the road and we went up 6 houses, I was OK until Mum's
friend suddenly came out of her house to get into her car
and spoke to Mum, I got frightened so we turned straight
around and came home. soon as I was in doors I was
OK again. Today before we went into the garden Mum showed
me the front door and we looked out of the porch windows
I wasn't scared this time, we are going to do this all this week
and then we are both going in the car for a  short ride.
I had a lovely time last night playing with all my toys
Mum says I come alive at night. :005:
I am still very frightened but feel happy in my house,
I keep being told I am doing so well and there is no rush.
well Mum has to go out so I must go now Dad is going
to look after me while she is out and he has my 11 o'clock
bunch ready  ;)
love you all  :luv:  :luv:  :luv:

Morning
Just had to do this quickly to tell you what has just
happened, we are planning to got out shopping
soon and HO went to get changed while I was on the
computer Both girls are with me as usual, Honey in
her basket and Meg's by my feet asleep...or so I
thought As HO popped his head around the door to say
he's ready when suddenly Meg's shot out growling and
barking  and standing in front of me
no frightened,  scared little dog there,  :o she
is going to protect her Mum  :luv: I picked her up and showed
her it was her Dad, we think it was because he had on entirely
different clothers, mind you she soon eat the treat he gave her,  ;)
what a brave little girl you know we
can't believe how much she has settled in. just need to get her
not so scared going out and then we can walk some of
her energy off as has they both had a mad couple of hours from 7pm
first time Honey has joined in both racing up and down the
lounge each with a soft toy flapping
in their chops  :lol2: sadly we
had to call a halt to it as they were barking and we have a
crappy neighbour  >:(
Meg's will be back soon.

Harry (also a rescue) does that, he sits on my feet in the office while I am on the computer and if OH comes upstairs he starts growling and barking at him, usually followed by him rushing out to see OH wagging his tail and squirming, a confused boy  :005: :005:

Sounds like Megs is doing really well

Hello
It's me again Meg's,
I am  having  a lovely time and growing and
my coat is getting longer feathering I think
mum called it.
I love following mum everywhere, where she
goes I go.  ;) might find a treat  :005:
I have being going down the garden on my lead
with mum every day and as it got warmer they put a crate
in front of the patio doors so they could be opened a
bit and popped some cushions down the side so I
couldn't slip by.....ah I did this morning.... ;)  :lol2: :lol2:
Mum was doing some thing called gardening down the bottom and
when she turned round I was running to meet her,
I ran all around the bottom patio without my lead on
and then as the  sun was shining I put my front feet
up on the seat that we sit on and got lifted up and
we both sat in the sun...well I lolled out enjoying it.
I am going to do more of this liked it on my belly  :005:
I really enjoy belly rubs as well now.
I found today a long thing that they put by the bottom
of the door to stop the draughts..well it's mine now..
;)  :lol2:  :lol2: I drag it all around the room, even
tried to squeeze it in my basket..
We were up early this morning 5am and mum showed
me the front door again that I am scared of and we looked out of the two
porch windows then mum opened the door and put me
down on the driveway I didn't really like it but mum
said I would be alright she wouldn't let any thing hurt or
frighten me after a few minutes we came in, we are going
to do it again tomorrow so I won't be scared to go out
anymore.
I don't hide in my den very much now only when the hoovering
is being done.
I feel much happier now and have settled in to my home.
I wish Auntie Sylvia and all at M.T. could see me now,
I'm so glad she came and saved me. my mum and dad
are to, they  :luv: :luv: me to bits. I am
spoilt rotten like a girl should be.
well 10 more minutes to dinner so tummy calls
love you all
 :luv: :luv: :luv:
