My wonderful caring cocker
« on: January 25, 2019, 10:31:43 AM »
Just wanted to share :luv:
Since last Thursday have been really under the weather with chest infection and cough that goes on and on - through this Ollie has been so concerned following me everywhere, lying on the bottom of the bed, sitting up everytime I cough, when I attempted to close the bathroom door on him yesterday he promptly stuck his paw out as if to say no you don't, my constant companion looking out for me every moment.
OH went away Wednesday and home today, he patted Ollie on the head and said you look after Mum and that is exactly what he has done.
Cocker kisses and cuddles just make my day!

You are always with me darlings Jaypup and my precious Oliver you are so missed

Bea's job is to look after Nan as well as collect socks and tare up tissues  :luv:

If my mum is upstairs and shouts Bea immediately runs up to check that she is ok, she also helps mum to find the Cafe and car after her walk with her.

As Mari has said they are the best Nurse or carer any one could have.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you’re feeling better, I’ve been suffering from something similar and my 2 have been looking after me.

My example of a caring cocker was some years ago when I went to look after my terminally ill Mum. I had my 2 with me and my Mum had a cocker as well. She was in a hospital bed downstairs and we had been told not to put the sides up.

One night my eldest cocker awoke me about 3am and kept running up and down the stairs until I got up. Thinking she wanted the toilet I got up only for her to take me into the dining room where my Mum was. My Mum had fallen out of bed and was in a lot of pain and crying. I hadn’t heard her call out but Poppy had. The other 2 were fast asleep upto that point. My Mum could well have been there until morning had Poppy not awoken me.
