When does a Cocker spaniel stop growing

Can anyone tell me when a cocker spaniel stops growing, or in other words will my 1 year old Alfie keep growing or has he stopped.  He seems quite small.  I've read online different ages, some say 6 months others 8 and one said 10 months.  I was surprised to be honest because I thought they carried on growing until they were about 2 years old.

Alfie would have finished growing upwards at anywhere between about 6 and 8 months but will continue to change shape as he gradually matures and his body fills out, which could take another year.

Have you measured him to see how tall he is from ground to the top of his withers?

Well I've tried but he keeps moving, not done it for a couple of months so maybe try again tonight!  He is still quite skinny I think despite being a complete greedy guts!  Plus we recently had him clipped so he looks even smaller.  He is probably going to be a smallish dog then which I am secretly quite pleased about because he looks cute
