Meet Dizzy

Dizzy came in as a stray and seems to have had no training in his previous life. He is now in foster where he is slowly adapting to life in a home. His foster carers say "He is a lovely boy, bursting with energy and over eager to please. Brilliant with other dogs but can be nervous when out on the lead. We need to build his confidence, especially out on the lead. Traffic makes him freeze and curl up, he's not keen on the dark and may suffer with separation anxiety if not trained sensitively. He is a work in progress & tiring him out doesn't seem an option, he seems to be running on hyper stress. We are hoping that slow and steady wins the race." Dizzy will no doubt make progress now that he has a loving home environment and other dogs to learn from - but even when he's ready for rehoming he will need owners who are experienced, preferably who have owned Spaniels before. He has only just been neutered and will need time for recovery and further assessment before he is ready for rehoming, but in the meantime you are welcome to submit an application if you feel that you could offer Dizzy the sort of home & training that he needs.
