Title: Winter and grooming

I have always managed to keep Kallis coat tangle free up til now, but since the weather has changed she is knotty every day :o.  She is very good when being brushed as I started as soon as I got her but its not going to be very comfortable for her if it continues.  I do use detangle spray, she is nearly 11 months and has not been spayed.  Is this how it is?  I am thinking of having her coat a bit shorter if it is. Would welcome advice please.
