Ok - so I hand stripped Millie's coat out prior to her season about 2 months ago.
Some of you may recall about that time I visited my breeder who said I had been slightly over zealous with the old plucking
and that Millie's coat needed to be longer.
So, I have let her coat grow - whilst worrying about it all falling out due to her season, which so far (touch wood) it hasn't yet.
Now then, her coat is quite long now, and she is moulting all over quite a bit, however, it doesn't matter how hard I tug I can't shift her coat, so its just getting longer and growing in waves
should I be waiting until a particular time of year?
There's an open show I'd like to go too in Feb (I didn't arrange anything earlier for fear of her coat falling out after her season) and I'm worried now that I need to wait until she goes fluffy again (like puppy fluff) or starts moulting again (even though she's moulting now
)
In general her coat is soft and shiny - I just can't pluck it!
Any advice please :-
