Grooming the Thick Legs
« on: June 11, 2004, 08:49:55 PM »
Hi my boy is now ten months and he has a lovely shaggy coat, I have been using the coat king to keep his head and back and belly under control but he will not let us do his legs and now the fur is very thick and long.

Does anyone know a good groomer in the Ruislip area or west london?

Failing that I will probably just get him clipped - however if I do that will it ruin his coat or will it just grow back in time?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I certainly wouldn't get him clipped as you will tend to find his coat will grow back curly and even thicker...although this isn't always the case.
If you've gone so far to use the coat king...have you thought of investing in a pair of thinning scissors for his legs??? or is it just that he won't stand for you?? Hopefully a mamber maybe able to recommend a groomer in your area...as not all groomers can actually groom a cocker to look like one
