Summer was my sisters blue roan cocker spaniel. She sadly lost her brave fight against a liver tumour at 1pm today. My sister is in bits.
My sister suffers with depression and summer was her loving and constant companion. She phoned and asked me to take a look at summer and give her some advice. When i looked at her i was concerned about how much weight she had lost and we phoned the vet.
he explained that everthing was starting to shut down and that she was in pain and said that it was time to make that terrible decision.
Summer will be missed by our whole family- she was a sweet and loyal little girl. I only have photo's of her wrestling in the garden with my darling springer who left us in 2007.
