Anyhow, I see that I have touched (again!) on a sensitive subject so please feel free to pull this Topic.

It's not a sensitive subject at all - we are all having a perfectly reasonable discussion I thought? That's what happens on discussion forums ;)

Thanks Jane, I asked a simple question, I thought, and no one has apparently used the gadget so I have nothing more to add. The merits, or otherwise, of different training methods has been debated before (now I have found where to look!) and there is plenty to read on the topic.

I admit I bought one and have not used it - did not want to spend the money on the DVD and actually cannot work out how it is suppose to work as if you attach it to a lead if you dog moves at all the bells ring - I wouldn't say in a particularly bad way a bit like a large cat bell but waste of money and just thinks its a gimmick - Im going back to basics to sort my recall
