Well the boy is home and apart from feeling sorry for himself seems okish. As he is wearing a cone I spoonfed him tonight, crying a bit now so I think we will have to have a cuddle

It's amazing the healing powers of a good cuddle  :luv:

Hope he feels better soon.

I’m sure he’ll be fine in no time.

We had our boy Larkin done on Thursday - both testicles undescended so not completely straightforward – and I was so worried beforehand but he was soon back to his old self after plenty of rest and his stitches are healing nicely.  Surprised how quickly he got used to his cone after only a day or so as well.

Best wishes to you both and cuddles to Minstrel  :luv: :luv:

Give him a cuddle from me too ~ you can never have enough cuddles if you're a Cocker!!  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:
Perhaps a delicious treat might make him feel better. When I was in hospital, chocolate always cheered me up. Obviously, not chocolate but the canine equivalent....   :luv: :luv:  Diana xx

his normal treats are fish for dogs, but I think biscuits or anything like that would make his throat sore, I have some fish in the freezer may take a bit of that out tomorrow and give it to him in cooked pieces. Nothing more tonight except water on vets recommendation. :luv:

Lots of cuddles in store for the little man  :luv:

Sending gentle squidges for Minstrel from me too  :bigarmhug:
I remember Ben feeling quite sorry for himself and crying the first night after his big boy op  ;) he was restless and unsettled as well, but I think that was more the effects of the anaesthetic than actually being in pain.
Hope you manage a good night and Minstrel is feeling much happier in the morning  :luv:
