Dental stick question
« on: October 01, 2016, 03:13:50 PM »
Hi,

Rhodri has been having a Wainwrights dental stick every evening and he absolutely loves them - he knows the time and sits and cries at me until I get one for him!

Went to Pets at a Home today to stock up and to my horror there were none there! Asked a staff member and was told that they're doing a stock review and depending on demand they may be discontinuing them!

I have a few left but if I can't get anymore, can anyone recommend a good brand - the guy in P@H advised us to stay away from Pedigree and Bakers.

Rhodri is going to be a very disappointed little boy!

What about tripe sticks? pets at home sell them, Riley adores them, they do smell a bit but the dogs love them.
Or fish skin sticks, they are good for the teeth too and pets at home sell them too.

Min, I think it's the use of "derivatives" from Meat, Animal and Vegetable ,the ingredients look almost the same as the PAH own brand chew sticks, but they also include Sugar >:(

Henry quite enjoys Greenies dental sticks, but doesn't LOVE them. Fish skins are great but chomped up in seconds.

Bea decided she wanted one of the Hedgehogs from PAH, I had to tell the cashier that she had it :005:

She enjoyed it right up until the point she brought it back up :020:  she hasn't had one since. :005:

Daisy has Whimzees too, no rubbish in them and I buy a big box which makes them very affordable, and leaves me with a happy spaniel!

They have gone up a good few pounds since the last box.  That is the medium size, you can also get the small.
