Constantly humping other dogs!
« on: April 30, 2016, 06:34:42 PM »
Hello everyone

My youngest Maverick is 10 months old now and over the last few months has started humping other dogs to the point where he pretty munch humps every dog he meets now  :-\.

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how I can manage it as its really affecting his recall. I don't really want to get him neutered just yet.
We live on a farm in the middle of a country park so he constantly meets other dogs, and when clients bring their dogs instead of playing beautifully like he used to or say hello politely he just wants to mount them. He is having to spend more time on a lead/long line for recall training but half the time he won't concentrate as he desperate to find another dog.

Any advice appreciated!!
