Thought I would introduce myself. I’m a new mum to the world of cocker spaniels and it’s been wonderful. Previously owner of terriers and a lovely Golden Retriever who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. I vowed never to get another dog as it’s too much of a heartache when they leave us. However that didn’t last long lol
It was never planned, but I am the owner of a working cocker spaniel called Albert. He’s 8 months old and the most affectionate little toodlebrain I have ever met! :luv:

Hi and welcome to you and Albert! This is very best place to be if you‘re new to cockers, you won‘t get better advice from nicer people anywhere! I‘m Jayne, trained by „Humphrey“ and joined this forum a bit more than 2 years ago when, thinking I had experience with dogs, I was enlightened that cockers aren‘t just ordinary dogs!! :005: - they‘re just wonderful!!!!
Looking forward to hearing all about little Albert and hopefully seeing some pictures!

Welcome to the forum, from someone else who was never having dogs again! :005: looking forward to getting to know you and Albert.

Welcome! Looking forward to,seeing pics of Albert.
Imhad terriers, five Scotties and a jack Russell, and three Cockers. Cockers are very different as I'm sure you're finding! What terriers did you have?

Hi to you and Albert and welcome to the family. Look forward to Albert's stories, the good and the not so good :005: ( the not so good being a inbred love for all things wet, stinky and sock shape.) Just remember we all have been there, lived through it and laughed our way out to the other side. We are your comfort blanket ph34r

Oh Albert's Mum, how much you still have to learn! As you will come to realise, you are now owned by a working cocker spaniel called Albert. I am sure that your new owner will prove kind and may even allow you time off for very good behaviour :005: :005: :005:
