The received wisdom is that it is best not to add another girl. It sometimes works out, but not always. Boy and a girl should get on.

Matching up for a pair will take some time and care. You need to get to know Mina's temperament and then find another who will fit. With Buster we knew that he was not particularly assertive and so a very confident dog would tend to push him out and upset him. Eventually we got Annie, who is a rescue and they couldn't be better chums. He feels that his job is to look after Annie and she is just devoted to him! I would suggest a dog and a bitch, but you will need to pick just right.
