Poor Dally Wally Doodlebug - as if having a raging lip fold infection isn't bad enough, I've noticed that he appears to be walking into things a bit more than normal  He has retinal degeneration in both eyes (which has NOT been diagnosed as PRA before I get accused of slander :P ) and he has been getting eye tests to monitor the condition. It had remained pretty stable so fingers crossed its just my raging imagination and his sight hasn't gotten any worse :( His appt is on Monday - seems like such a long way away

Fingers crossed here it's just your raging imagination :P ;)

Hope it goes ok, Gill. I thought Indie's cataract had grown, when in fact the vet thought it had reduced, so hopefully you'll be the same.

Okay, its official - I'm neurotic   His left eye has just a very slight change since the last test and his right eye doesn't appear to have changed at all. The specialist was very pleased and said that if he does go on to develop PRA (as per his optigen results) then it will be a very slow process which is great news. He still has to have his yearly tests which obviously enables us to monitor the situation. So all in all I am a very happy bunny :D
-
That's good news, thank goodness for neurotic women
-
Phew thank goodness for that! Bet you feel so much better for having that confirmed.
Bet Dallywally is a bit happier too
