Got at home at lunchtime to find Disney had eaten a DVD
And not just any old DVD - it was a Robbie one
Only four little fragments remained of it - searched the three rooms the little toad had access to and the rest of it was nowhere to be found. He came to work with me in the afternoon and we took a conscious x-ray but the fragment that we used ont he plate as a comparison didn't show up on the film
We have been sent home with lots of liquid paraffin and instructions just to feed a very soft diet. If in the next few days he shows signs of discomfort, vomiting or straining then he has to go in for a laparotomy so the offending bits can be removed.
On a lighter note, when he was getting checked over prior to the x-ray, the vet pulled a lollipop stick out of Disney's bum
