Please help, think my dog might have neurological issues

She's like it for up to an hour.  Vet is at a loss, we're having an MRI scan done to see if there's anything going on, but wondered if any experts here could shed any light on it.  I was recommended to come on here by Archiebean's mum Emma

I've just watched your video and I don't have any advice to offer, but just wanted to say I hope the MRI scan helps with a diagnosis and a way forward.

It's a good thing that you have recorded it as the vets can take a look and hopefully come up with a plan.

Bea recently had an MRI on her head and they also did a spinal tap, it often means one less General Anaesthetic .

I've watched the video too and like its.me I wondered if it was her neck or spine. My old boy Ben had similar turns where the bottom of his spine would go into spasm and he would stand like this for quite a while. He had all the neuro tests, and general spine/disc checks and it was all ok and they came to the conclusion it was probably a muscular spasm because he would go back to being ok after a few hours and completely back to normal the following day.

Hope for a good outcome for your girl 💕 and the vet can sort the problem out

Oh my goodness I have just watch the video and she certainly seems to have her head down like neck problems, bless her tail wagging all the time.

Just thought I might as a few questions so that you can inform the vets of the answers next week.

Any recent vaccinations / flea worm treatments?
Does it happen after exercise / ball playing / rest?
What is she doing before the "turn" and what is she like before she comes out of it?
How often does she have them / is there a pattern on time of day etc?
At what age did she start having them?

Just wondering.  Is she reluctant to jump up or having issues when sitting down ( taking longer than usual to sit)

In the meantime I would limit her activity levels, discourag going up or down any stairs / jumping as a precaution

Just wondering if there’s any news on the Vet appointment?

I saw Lily’s owner Tim today and she has now been totally fine for just over a week. Before going for the MRI Tim realised that she had had a change of food just before this started happening. They put her back in the old food and she’s been fine ever since. Very odd but a relief to know that, so far, she seems to be totally back to normal.

Great news.....I wonder if it was a trapped nerve.....this human has had this and hobbled around for weeks went on hols to Spain struggled into swimming pool and got out 30mins or so later and totally gone.
