I've picked him up and he is very sleepy, bless him, so he will be getting his chicken tea later. When I phoned at 2 to see how he was doing, I was told that he was ready to go - that is vet speak for "he is making one hell of a racket and I want a bit of peace for my coffee break"
He has had them flushed out and packed with antibiotic as they were infected again
and he has antibiotic tablets for a week. Have to take him back again next Friday morning for a check up but the vet said they may need re-packed at that point. Because he is such a steady dog, they would try doing it without sedation first but, if not, then they will keep him in again.
