Well, he seems to be better again today  :-\  He didn't need to go during the night and the poo that he did pass this morning was formed but coated in slime. I'll see what he passes at lunchtime before deciding whether to cancel his appt.

Hope all the other poorly doggies are on the mend too  :-*

Whistler is still poorly the kaolin pro stuff is working but the end bit!! is runny and yellow. At least no blood or sick, its got to be weather related maybe something in the soil that is not being burnt out by the sun? a few plants are mildew covered and the dogs may be eating that mildew? do you all have gardens?
Just a thought loads of slugs around as well.

Viv & poorly Whistler
OH common ole border is fine though just my pedigree pooch!!

Without wishing to be too vile, what does it mean when the poo is coated in slime?  Parker has good poo 90% of the time, but they are invariably very slimy and I've never quite understood why.

Very, very sorry to be so vile! ph34r

Hope you continue to improve Disney  :luv: and your Mum can cancel that appointment.

Halle was sick last night and I offered her some live yogurt which she refused (unheard of) and I thought here we go again, but thankfully she's as bright as a button this morning. :shades:

Well we are just back from the vets and he is being treated for enteritis. I wasn't going to bother taking him but thought I'd better err on the side of caution, what with all these dogs seeming to get better then relapsing again, and I'm glad I did. He has got a really sore tummy and was crying even when she was gently palpating it (and he's not a wussy dog) . So he has got the dreaded Metronidazole for 5 days and if no better then have to send a poo sample away for testing.

Well Disney is fine in himself - the metronidazole haven't made him sick thank goodness. His poo however is a complete slimefest  ph34r :P  Hopefully once the meds kick in that will clear up cos its turning my stomach
