Disney's results still aren't through yet but I have to take Harlem & Jersey in tonight as they have both been poorly with severe diarrhoea (think projectile!! It was all over the top of my coffee table  ph34r) and sickness all weekend. The vet won't give me any treatment without seeing them so I'm just thankful Jersey still has her no excess policy   I just wish we could get to the bottom of it and make them better  :-\

Whistler is now fine, we never came up with anything wrong really but after a dose of antibiotics he has settled down but it was 3 - 4 weeks.
I have changed his feed to Natures Best and touch wood its ok now. What with that and the slug episode three lots of samples (wee, pooh & bloods) nothing was found wrong except for loose (to be polite) grey frothy pooh.
So Best Wishes to all sick doggies and I hope they all get better quicker than Whistler (and £480 our bill!) cheaper.

Blimey.Poor you and your poor doglets. Wonder what it is. The vet said Ellie had a bacterial infection and is now fully recovered after a course of ABs. It was  bad enough having one so poorly so I can't imagine having three. Positive thoughts that they all recover soon.

Well, they have been to the vets and both have sore gurgly tummies but temps are normal. They have two lots of medication each to take for a week.  They both had very watery diarrhohea on the way to the vets and ended up with it all over their feathering and don't ask me how Harlem got it on his back and ears   The nurse very kindly took them through the back and cleaned them up for me while we waited to see the vet. Apparently the results are expected any time now so I have to phone back each day to see if they are back. The vet thinks that the fact they weren't back on Friday could indicate that they have found something and are doing a sensitivity report on it  :-\ Will keep you updated  ;)

Sorry, Gill, just caught up with this.

Not nice at all. I do hope it is all soon cleared up. It must be making them feel pretty rotten, and as for you........get yourself some funky rubber gloves since you seem to be having to wear them all the time at the moment. ;)
