Never rains..............

Grooming Disney this evening and decided to give him a thorough going over with the flea comb just to check. Didn't find any fleas but did find an open wound on his back  :o  Have no idea how long its been there but it doesn't look old - I did however squeeze quite a bit of yellow gunk out of it so he's off to the vets at 7.30. I don't think its big enough to be stitched so might just be a case of leaving it open and giving him antibiotics - fingers crossed thats all that will be needed anyway  ;)

You could write a book!! At least this is a specific injury - rather it not there at all of course - but better than all these difficult ilnesses you've been dealing with.

Hope he goes on OK at the vet ;)

gill, i just don't know what to say. your vets must love you.

i think we should set up a fund for your vets bills. they must be breaking your poor bank account to peices.

Well, I didn't get charged - probably because the vet thought I was a right twit  ph34r  The hole on his back has been caused by a sebaceous cyst bursting (all the gunk that was coming out of it was just sebum) :005: :005:  I didn't even know he had one there but its left one heck of a wound. The vet did say that it should scab over and heal very quickly. The fact he has now had 2 of them and he isn't even 3 yet means he will probably be very prone to them  ::)
