Ewww. Gross.

But what a lovely vet. Did he really think you were a twit?? How would you know it was a cyst. And even if you did know, how would you know for sure that antibiotics weren't needed.

Ah well, I guess it's worth accepting the dumb owner label if it gets you aout of a heft bill!

Hope it heals quickly.

Sorry to hear that Disney will be prone to these but at least you know now and can keep a close eye on him

Thanks everyone for not laughing at me - well, at least not out loud  :lol: :lol:  If I'd known he had a cyst there, I might have been able to put 2 and 2 together but the first I knew of it was when I saw the hole  ::)  Any future holes will now be dealt with accordingly by myself and I shan't be rushing back to the vets anytime soon  :lol:

Oh poor Disney (& you!)

I don't know if this is any help, but my last dog had about 4 big cysts (on his paw and some on his belly) between the ages of 1.5-3, then nothing again. Hoping it's the same for Disney.

Poor Disney but glad to hear its nothing too serious. Did I hear you correctly??? did you say your vet didnt charge you  ph34r You must spend lots of pennies there Gill my vet charges as soon as you walk through the door lol! :005:
