All looking good. Jake suffers with lip fold infections / smells. We manage it with diluted Hibiscrub & to protect it a dab of Sudocrem. So far so good & getting a lot less frequent
Hope William is back on top form ASAP

Yesterday fourteen days after Wills op we returned to the Vets hopefully to receive good news that the Lampshade can come off.

YES YES YES, Tom said that it had all healed up sufficiently to remove the lampshade, the remaining stitches should dissolve over the next few days.

Since removal Wills has not shown any inclination to scratch his jaw so we are confident that it should be alright now.

Today he had his first free run in two weeks, and his enjoyment was very clear to see.

Hi Pancake, William is fully recovered, no signs of any regression.  Some of the stitches have still yet to dissolve but they don't seem to bother William so we have not gone back to the Vet.

Now it's healed we are routinely cleaning his mouth area as a precaution.

Hi Dianne, sorry to hear about Phoebe, hope the cleaning does  the trick.
