I was charged just over £100 for Jimmy to be neutered, my own vet (at that time) had quoted over £200. I've heard of one vet here in London charging £275 to castrate a Norfolk Terrier !

Now eaten - sorry for the interuption :P

For Daisy's lump removal (nearest we could get to castration       )

it cost £193.80 that includes the following

1 consultation - 19.51
1 GA full - 48.18
Operating time - 64.63
Histopathology Lab fee - 45.24
20 ml Rimadyl - 6.50
Synulox injection - 4.17
4 Nisamox 250mg - 5.57  (think they were the antibiotics tablets!)

That is including VAT.

Not sure if that is competitive or not but I really like our vets and trust them implicitly and I think that is pretty much priceless
