Sh*T Penel"!!! How awful  :o, although thank god you saw it happen & saw that it was an adder! . You must be absolutely frantic, I can only imagine how you must be feeling, I'd have driven fast too!!!!

My friend's Cocker was bitten on the face by an adder last year but like you, she acted very quickly and he did make a full recovery after a night at the vets. Here's hoping for the same happy outcome for Tilly.

Thank god you saw it happen and were able to act so quickly.

just got home now...

and jarv and phil and i have everything crossed for tilly - she looked so poorly when we got her to the vets, but she is a strong healthy girl and with all the positive thoughts from here i'm sure she'll pull through.  the next 2 days are the critical time so keep on sending those get well vibes.

i can't get over how calm penel was, and how lucky tilly is to have her as her mum  :luv:  penel saw what happened and acted at the speed of light and this too bodes well for beautiful princess tilly.

thoughts are with you penel  :-* :-* :-*

Helen, thanks so much for coming with us to the vets - and massively inconveniencing poor Phil !  it was so good that you were with me, I don't know how I'd have done it on my own... probably best not to think about that eventuality... cheers mate  :-*

Thanks everyone for your good wishes - no call from the vets yet, will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
