jarv is on a drip at the vets

...he had vomiting and diawotsit while OH and i were away on saturday night (one night away, he's safe and sound with SIL and fudge...and he gets sick )

picked him up last night and he's a very sorry for himself little man (it was his second birthday yesterday too...celebrations are on hold )
his diawotsit had turned very dark and gravy like (with digested blood in it) - he was still drinking loads of water and his gums were fine but this morning the diawotsit turned to 90 percent blood   (fresh red blood), his temp is low and he's shivering and his heart is racing - and after an 'accident' in the vets surgery when she saw how much he was losing, he has been admitted for an overnight stay and is having bloods and is on a drip.

The bloods are being turned around quickly so they are hoping they can start treating him soon - in my heart i think it's giardia or camplyobacter as he was drinking out of stagnant rancid puddles in the new forest on friday...

if you can spare him a little thought we would appreciate it, he is not very well at all and the vets are 'very worried'...so you can imagine how i am at the moment (stupidly in pieces...)

OMG Helen! That's awful. I'm all weepy just reading about poor Jarv, so I can imagine how you are feeling.    

I really hope Jarv begins to get better soon.  He is in the best possible place.

Oh my goodness, poor Jarvis.   No wonder you are in peices.  Sending huge hugs and get well thoughts.  I just hope that he improves and is back on his feet.

OMG Helen, poor Jarv  , and poor you - you must be beside yourself with worry.  

Hope they manage to get him sorted quickly.  I guess they need a diagnosis before they can give him the proper meds.

Thinking of you and Jarvis
