Well she isnt screeching any more, so that is a bonus :shades: :luv: :luv: She is unsettled, but much calmer than the first couple of hours after he went in, OH said he thought she'd do herself damage the fretting she was doing..........she has a tasty treat and is coming for lots of cuddles, which everyone is giving her. Lily has been "talking" to her, we call Lily THE DOG WHISPERER ( not CM styley!!) in this house :005: :005: but only because she always talks to the dogs in a specfic way which they seem to like :luv: Nance wont lay in her bed which is interesting, if Milo was here right now that is where she would be, curled up in a ball with him :luv:

Lily is such a clever girl - she is going to have to have a lot of animals around her growing up isn't she  ph34r  :luv: :luv: :luv

I think the thing with Nancy is she has never been a "lone" dog, ever, before she came to me she lived with Ten other cockers and before that she was with her litter mates  so she doesn't really understand being alone..........but yes they are very close :luv: :luv: Though he wont be fretting for her, well I doubt it anyway! :luv: But I bet the vet nurses will have fun trying to get him out for a pee wee in this torrential rain :lol2: :lol2:

As for Lily and animals, she'll have to get round her father first!! But as you know, she'll probably be able to get round him fairly easily Helen :lol2:

It's nearly 4 yay, only another hour to go......probably the longest hour ever!

I have Lisa yep but it was a friutless exercise >:( >:( >:( >:(

I am doing alot of swearing right now... >:D

HE HASN'T EVEN HAD IT DONE YET!

Despite being stuck in a bloomin cage since 8.30 this morning..................and the reason, "oh we have been busy today" I say "oh gosh have you had lots of emergencies" reply "oh no but we had a lot of animals booked in"

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

I hate the fact the poor munchkin has been couped up all that time.

So now I have to call again at 7, and they are open till half 9. So now even though I had got to the stage of he must be okay they havn't called, I have to go back to the stage of, has it been done yet :'(

This happened last time he was in there. They are a fab vets, but their policy for operations sucks! I don't understand why they have to have all the animals in sooooooooo early, and I will be asking, although I know I asked last time and didn't get anywhere really.

Gosh I really wouldn't be happy with that.  I thought waiting till 5 to ring was bad enough  >:D  >:D

If they are that busy then they should have a morning and afternoon surgery so to speak.

Poor baby being cooped up all day when he could have been at home.

Thinking of you and Milo  :-*  :-*

As I'm sure you can imagine, I have said far worse than that........

As OH pointed out we have no doubt that they are looking after Milo well and that actually he is probably okay, but they forget about us mere mortals at home, worrying about our animals, not to mention Nancy who is pacing again, keeps looking for him outside :'( :luv:

I HATE the idea of him being in a cage for that length of time, sedated or not, it makes me FURIOUS.

So I have another hour to wait, as you can imagine, due to anger and emotion I have shed a few tears :'( >:( >:(

I am going to have plenty to say PLENTY when the time comes to pick him up.

Oh Lisa, I don't know why but I thought he was having it done next week! (I hope that's not prophetic! ph34r)

Poor thing being shut in a cage all day. Will he have coped with that, do you think?

I hope they do him soon, and that he will be able to come home this evening. What a horrid long day for you.

Poor Milo.

I'd have serious words too if they kept one of mine shut up for that long.

He will Annette, he is a totally "what will be, will be" kind of dog, he goes with the flow :luv: :luv: THANK GOODNESS.

It's just me that HATES the idea of him being couped up all day.
