Thornit??
« on: January 09, 2011, 08:43:28 AM »
Hi, I did a search regarding the use of Thornit, but just want to check something being a newbie!!

Should this make my cocker shake and rub at her ears even more?, the vet thinks there is the start of a problem, so I thought I would try it out and use it as a prevention, but she seems to have more problems after using it!!

I have been carefull not to put the grains down the canal, and only around the outer edge.

many thanks for your opinions. I have never used this before!

Lexi used to shake her head and scratch her ears quite regularly so I cleaned her ears every day for about a week (with a cleaner from the vets - aural I think).  Then left it a few days so that I knew that her ears were given a chance to dry and then I started using the Thornits, since then we have had no problems.
