Yes for the minute, as his initial treatment was with them and I wasn't sure of insurance claims if I changed vet mid treatment (if he has to have bloods etc done).

When he's back to full health, I'm changing though.

Well, after the shaking again last night, he woke up bright as a button.  He managed some dry Chappie (only a couple of mouthfulls) but it's more than he's had for nearly 2 weeks (kibble-wise).  He's chuffing to go out for a wee (which he's not been doing).  He still is straining for a poo but that's because he's not had much to eat, I suppose.

Vet appt at 2.30 so we'll see then, thanks for asking :D

People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

Hi everyone, sorry I've not reported back earlier but was waiting for vets to ring with blood test results (they haven't though >:()

They couldn't find anyone wrong with him physically so took bloods.  Temps normal/no joint or pain areas.  Only thing was his anal glands had an infection so he got a jab and 7 day anti b's and pain relief just in case.

He weighed 11.2kg 4 weeks ago when he got his boosters - he now weighs 10.4 :o  so I really need him to start eating again.  He's managed a small bit of tinned Chappie with his meds tonight but won't entertain scrambled eggs/rice so am struggling to get anything down him :-\

Thanks for your good wishes, it's nice to know the power of COL is behind him :luv:
