Oh Pammy that's not good news at all, poor Buddy :(   Do they know if this has been caused by an injury or some other condition?  Bet you can't wait to have him home for a bit of TLC before he has to go to Norfolk.

We're back from the vets with our little fella and he is so sad :(  He can barely stand now, his back legs are just not part of him at all :(  

So I'm off to Norfolk, Fakenham with him tomorrow for a specialist consult and some more tests then possibly the op. If they operate tomorrow then I'll be staying down there with him until I can bring him home which should be Thursday if all goes well. Talk about a whirlwind :blink:  I don't think it's sunk in yet, but the prognosis is very good and the op is well worth doing.

I can't fault our vets in anyway - cost a lot today but they have taken very good care of Buddy and really pulled out the stops to get his referral through today. I had the senior vet also came to chat to say how confident she felt about the surgery and told me of her own experience.

So I won't be online now perhaps until Thursday. Thank you all again for your good wishes.

Poor Buddy and poor you - lots of rehab following the surgery too I bet.  Good luck for the trip to Nofolk - everything crossed here x
