Hi,when I had my horse I used to buy it at the local feed merchant, a little goes a long way so although it seems pricey it lasts ages. You can also pick it up on ebay although paying for postage hikes the price up. Is it for dog, human or equine? Would be interested to know if it's ok to feed it to the pooch.Rosie's mum.

Hi

Just an update in case anyone is interested from Natural Animal Feeds (NAF) Garlic Powder:

Thank you for your enquiry. We do not do a specific garlic product for dogs, although I no of no reason why you dog couldn’t use our equine powder. I would recommend ½ - 1 tsp (5g) per day, depending on the size of the dog.

I use a garlic, honey & glucose liquid from Equiform Nutrition also designed for horses but I have been using it for about 18 months for Spike & it does seem to help to stop him itching.
I get it from my local feed store.

Doh, it didn't even occur to me that it would of course make much more sense to buy it in big containers (and I used to have a horse as well!)  ph34r ph34r

I use an equine brand of garlic powder aswell  it's good for repelling fleas and boosts the immune system.

Sounds a good idea - how much and how often?  Do you just put it in their food?

Sorry to bring this one back, but we have recently got hold of some of the above mentioned garlic liquid - OMG what a smell guarenteed to clear your nose out at 50 yrs, it was in the porch but to over powering, its now in the shed and you can still smell if sat outside enjoying a summers evening... ph34r
