hi everyone  :D :luv:
you are all so kind, thank you so much for your lovely messages.
i could'nt settle,so came online for a while.
i have'nt heard anything from the vets yet ?, so proberly won't here anything until the morning now.
its going to seem like a long night tonight.

i read somewere on here, about their puppy weeing on carpet and being prepremanded, i can assure you, grace has'nt been told off,for weeing it would make no difference to me at all, as all my flooring is ceramic flooring even in my loungue, so can soon be mopped up if she did happen to have an accident,. grace has been an angel with her toliet training, think it helps having 8 other cockers, and being out in my garden, ect.grace was screaming and circling in my garden and not indoors.

all i know is grace has been well, and this was so out of the blue, this morning she has been fine, not drinking excessive, her eating has'nt been good for 2 days, but now realise that could be due to some discomfort/pain she may have been in leading up to this, or that she has lost some of her puppy teeth.
all i saw was grace spinning in circles, screaming in pain, and squatted twice to do a wee, with nothing coming out, i immidatley phoned my vets, and they told me to take her straight in, they went all over her,, feeling her tummy, they took her out the back to pass a needle into her tummy and into her bladder, but could'nt draw any urine from her, so they decided to hosptitalise her, monitor, and give painkillers, they are going to get her to drink in order to build up some urine in her, so they can re insert a needle into her bladder to see if they can get a sterile urine and look at it under a microscope, or she could have an abnormality , or she could be leaking urine, so at present lots of " if's ", and i don;t have any answers.
i feel awful leaving her,as i'm sure you can all sympathis with, and the not knowing is heart breaking.
she is still very much a baby, proberly scarred stiff, i was totally not expecting them to keep her in, as i thought maybe an injection, a course of antibiotics and home again.
how wrong was i, so i'm extremley worried, and just hope its nothing serious.
but as soon as i have some news i will update you.and thank you for all your kind messages.
love terri

hi everyone  :D :luv:
thank you so much for all your lovely well wishes for the gorgeous grace  :luv:.
as you can imagine, i did'nt sleep too well, went to bed with a migraine, and have re woke up with one too.
just to update you on grace, i phoned the vets this morning, they managed to re insert a needle into her tummy ( bless her heart), and got a urine sample, which has been tested, and all normal , which is great news.
and thats all they have said, they said they would get a vet to phone me later today,so not sure what they will do now, or if she will come home, or if they are doing more tests ect.
so although great news, her urine is all fine,it does'nt explain why she is in pain last night and not wanting to wee.
so i have to wait now until a vet phones me back.
just thought i'd update you all.
and thank you once again for being here for me,your ALL stars  :D
love terri
