It certainly seems as if the liver cockers are more prone to getting curly and fluffy so Chloe might stay shiny and sleek.  Coco is also clipped so that has had an effect too.  It did take at least 6 months for Coco's coat to change though.  ;)

see no-one told me about liver cockers and their coats blowing so much....I wonder if mine is still on guarantee?  ph34r

Tiffany was speyed at the end of April, she's about 5 years old.   When I picked her up she was a bit groggy and I realised their idea of 'oh she's had some food', in Tiffs case, meant they'd put it in the cage and she'd lay with her head in it  :005: :005:  She was still a bit dozy by the evening so we got a load of duvets down and slept on the floor in the lounge rather than go to bed upstairs.  I woke up at 2am with her lying on my chest, nose inches from mine, whining, with my face completely enclosed by the bucket  :005:

She had the collar on for a couple of nights and when I went out but she didn't really bother with the stitches. She was also bouncing off the walls the day after the op and I have to confess that after about 5 days I forgot and let her off the lead.  I did a lot of wincing and shouting that week.

She had a tooth out and a scale and polish at the same time.  Her personality doesn't seem to have changed, her coat's ok too so far.

Aw... good luck with your op Chloe and if you do get a bad hair day, you could get a fetching wig????  ph34r ph34r

Sue, my golden cocker turned into a total rug about 6 months after he was done, ph34r sheep in iceland would have given anything for a coat as thick as him  :005:

I'm sure Chloe will be fine though, I have good vibes for you!

Good luck with the op, hope it goes smoothly and she's back with you in no time at all  :luv: :luv:

Gari had a thick curly coat before he was neutered and it didn't change, it probably couldn't have got any curlier! :luv:

Good luck for Tuesday Sue. :-*

I have no advice just wanted to say hope all goes well  :-* :luv:
The reason dogs have so many friends is because they wag their tails instead of their tongues.
