Waggytails' Millie

Wendy rang me in a real state just before, but I know she wont mind me telling you. Her precious Millie has collapsed this morning and was just lying there on the floor. For an old girl Millie is usually very strong and her stubborn personality has helped her over come anything life has thrown at her so far, but this has come as a real shock. I know that she has since come round, but I told Wendy to take her to the vets just for a check up. I suspected a TIA (mini stroke). She has now rushed her to the vets and obviously I don't know what they'll say or how Millie is going to be, but whilst she is still fighting, please could I ask you all to spare a thought for her and Wendy and hopefully get Millie back on her feet again.

Wendy just rang, seen by vet who says Millie is very poorly, she has a bad heart murmur and so has given her water tablets and 2 lots of heart tablets to try to make her feel better. Wendy thanks you all for your support and hopefully she will be able to update this thread herself later. She has to go back to vets tomorrow morning to get Millie checked out again. Hopefully these tablets will make a difference to her and make her more comfortable. Wendy says even on the table Millie was wrestling, so hopefully thats a glimmer of hope for them.

I'm really sorry to hear that Millie is ill :'(  She sounds like a little fighter though and I hope she makes a good recovery :luv:
