Worming brands?
« on: March 05, 2010, 10:28:18 PM »
Is there any brand of worming tablets you recommend?

Dylan is due to be wormed again shortly - but the last time I gave him Johnson's - and he was pretty ill for nearing a week after it - so I don't want to go back to that brand incase is happens again.

(Sorry if this is in wrong section - I'm still working my way around what goes where)

Milbemax here too - no problems with it.  :D

The ones you can get in the pet shop are useless and can cause serious problems so best to get it from the vet or online  ;)

Lucy does not do well on panacur or drontal but is absolutely fine on Milbemax, so another vote for Milbemax here!

I have used drontal and milbemax with no adverse reactions  ;)

Whatever you decide on, they are cheaper than your vet here :-

I use Stronghold on my dog and cat; it kills fleas, lice, mites and roundworm. All from a couple of drops of liquid on the back of the neck.
